Why the British government does not return the stolen Greek marbles?
Everyone knows that it is a downright theft;including the manner of of their extraction by a bunch of Neadertals,with Lord Elging as chief Neadertal.This opinion is held by the majority of English and American Heads of Department of Classics,at least 2000 of proffessors of Humanities and history in Europe and US Universities plus personalities of all Continents. The reason?unknown;already Egyptian mummies and artifacts have been returned to Egyptian museums and other European cultural inheritance Treasures. The argument by a contributor that…the Greeks have artifacts from other countries is at least loughable…no artifacts belonging to third parties are kept in Greece or are being exhibited in Greek museums(UNESCO,symbosium on stolen cultural Treasures).Precedent of returned Treasures allready exists,so Enland would do well to return them since none can acquire glamour from items he was never capable of producing but only of stealing…
