Why the bank of England stays idle?
The housing sector is only one sector of the economy which contribute to its growth or GDP. A high positive GDP means that all sectors in the economy is doing well. The Bank of England is constantly present regulating the economy using monetary and fiscal policies and interest rates to control and regulate the economy.Overall it main function is to see that the country’s inflationary pressure is under control. If the housing market is bad, it has to come out with its monetary and fiscal policies to steer that sector to achieve growth so that the housing market do not crash.
