Why The Balanced Scorecard?

0

In evaluating our progress in 2001, we realized that the value of our accomplishments were not always apparent due to a lack of a measurement and reporting system that tracked the progress of meeting our goals. More importantly, we realized that there was a lack of alignment of our goals and initiatives at the unit levels within CLS. We believe that The Balanced Scorecard is the ideal vehicle that allows us to combine all of our past, present and future efforts and move us forward collectively in the achievement of our vision and objectives. The Balanced Scorecard provides a cohesive system to align vision, goals and results by providing a performance baseline and tracking and communicating progress.
