Why the arm get swollen after 3 years of breast cancer & after remove left breast &left lymph node?

It’s called lymphoedema and it’s a lifelong risk after the removal of lymph nodes during breast cancer surgery. I’m surprised your mother’s hospital didn’t inform her of the risk at the time. To put it simply, lymphatic fluid will rush in to help the arm if it perceives it to be under attack and, where some or all lymph nodes have been removed, the fluid may then have difficulty getting out. If this happens the arm will swell; it’s irreversible, although it can be controlled. She may not realise how she got it; any small injury or stress to the affected arm can trigger it – cuts, scratches, burns, sunburn, insect bites, heavy lifting etc People who’ve had lymph node removal shouldn’t allow injections in or blood tests from the affected arm , and should keep the arm moisturised, wear appropriate gloves when gardening, washing dishes or cleaning cat litter trays. They should also try to avoid heavy lifting and clean any cuts, scratches etc to the arm and treat with antiseptic cream as so
