Because one cubic yard is the minimum size required to support thermophilic composting; as per imparted by farmer Amigo Bob Cantisano some years back at the Eco-Farm Conference. As it turns out Amigo Bob was serendipitously caught on film at Hoes-Down 2007 while master composter Ute Engelke & founder Kent Schneeveis, below, make self portraits.
