Why take a train in the first place? Isn flying better and faster?

Yeah, planes can be faster but is speed the only point of your trip? Traveling by train is fast and efficient but you can still see the countryside. You can pass through small villages that no airplane is going to go to; you can stop in towns, or even in the middle of nowhere, the choice is yours, not the flight plan’s.
