Why sven goran erikson couldnt with the national team of mexico?
I heard an interview with Sven’s agent Athol Still on Radio Five Live, who said that he did not want Sven to take the job with Mexico in the first place, and he warned Sven that it would be very difficult for a non Hispanic to work with the Mexican squad, and indeed I believe that there were several Mexican players who just wouldn’t tow the line with Sven and made life very difficult for him, so in my view it was doomed to fail from day one. As a Man City supporter though Sven still has a place in my heart for orchestrating home and away victories against Man U in the same season, and I would have him back at Eastlands in a heartbeat.
