Why Sun is burning, bcoz there is no oxygen in the universe?

All are correct in pointing out to Asker that sun is NOT burning. Burning is when a dry stick burns in air with a golden flame at about 500 degrees centigrade when the carbon and hydrogen in the starch and sugar present in the stick (C6H12O6) combines with Oxygen (O2) in the air to form Water Vapor and Carbon Dioxide with release of lots of Heat from chemical bond breaking and re-forming. Chemical bonds are like two or more soap bubbles that are floating and happen to touch one another and get stuck. If you look at it in real life, you will see it. All are correct in pointing to Asker that sun undergoes nuclear fusion. This is when a lot of hydrogen gas in Space collects together, becomes smaller due to gravity, and gets very compressed in the middle or inside. It becomes very hot due to the pressurer inside, and the nucleus of the hydrogen under great pressure joins with other hydrogen nucleii and becomes helium. This causes some of the forces in the nucleus of hydrogen to be releazed

There is a hole lot of Oxygen in the universe, but the Sun is not burning as such. The Sun is made up of Hydrogen and the Sun uses the Hydrogen into Helium, and in the process of fusion a lot of heat is generated. Lets look at a Hydrogen bomb exploding, there are massive explosions on the sun that are millions of times stronger than the biggest Hydrogen bomb set off here on earth. Remember the Sun is not burning, it is fusing Hydrogen into Helium, when the Hydrogen starts to run out the sun will swell into a red giant, because the sun will be fusing fusing Helium, but by that stage the sun would have swollen so large it will take in the orbit of Mercury Venus and maybe even the earth. And if by then the people of earth does not have space craft large enough and fast enough to move people plants and animals to a planet that can support life as we know it, there will no longer be humans in our Galaxy.
