Film Studies is an exciting programme which provides students with a careful combination of practice and theory/history modules. The degree takes place within the context of the thriving media and cultural industries of East London and students are encouraged to participate in and makes links with local drama schools, film festivals and experimental cinemas and film clubs. There is also a placement scheme in operation in the second year which will enable you to undertake work-based learning in the film or related industries.
