Why Study Exercise Science at Lipscomb?
We put a high premium on academic excellence. The Exercise Science program meets the program recommendations established by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). It also meets the National Standards for Undergraduate Exercise Science Programs, established by the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE). The program also has a strong career-oriented aspect, with an emphasis on preparing for professional goals after graduation. Many students choose to take professional certification exams through the American College of Sports (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or other professional organizations. In recent years, Lipscomb Exercise Science students and graduates have maintained an excellent record of successfully passing these exams.
