Most people, however, like to concentrate on the stories and doctrines that are most meaningful to them. Prophecy is often not very interesting because it appears to deal with the distant past or the indecipherable future. Either way, it doesn’t seem to affect us today. To understand the importance and relevance of Bible prophecy, we first need to see its importance in the Bible itself. At least 25% of the Bible is explicitly classified as prophetic.
