Why study Architectural Technology and Management at the University of Ulster?
As an architectural technologist you will be part of the design team of major building projects, taking the client’s brief, and developing a scheme which will fulfill the requirements of the brief. Working with environmental and structural engineers, you will develop a building with an energy efficient fabric, that will cope with expansion and contraction, and all the other weather conditions that the climate can throw at it. The building will use ecologically friendly materials throughout. It will eliminate the barriers to disabled people wishing to use the building and will be efficient ergonomically, making the users environment less stressful. If you like working as part of a team, and would be proud to walk past one of your buildings, then the Architectural Technology and Management course is for you.
