The USB interface is compliant with USB 1.1 standard. It can work well with either USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 port. However, Windows XP has some compatible problems with USB 1.1 device so please visit Microsoft web site to download Service Pack 2 for Windows XP. Install the program in the system and reinstall SP127 again then it will work fine.
