Why some people say Jesus did not exist?
And what evidence would that be. I have studied ancient history (and am still studying it) and I have not once come across any writings or research that confirms the existence of anyone that would be Jesus. If you have any information that would suggest otherwise I would love to see it. Don’t listen to Josia’s lies… Josephus merely mentions Jesus in to passages, which are not eye witness accounts nor historically accurate. And Philo NEVER wrote anything about Jesus, this is just a lie told by Christians to help support their cause simply because Philo was alive during the alleged life of Jesus.
Really?!! So come on genius name one single piece of contemporary evidence for the existence of Jesus then!! Find it and you will become instantly famous and very rich!!! There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record – that is right – not one!!! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah – all of whom are well recorded!! There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!! He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record? Because most people are not informed. They take the word of their friends and others who ‘agree’ with them without doing the research. Of course there is evidence that Jesus existed. The writings of the Jewish historian Josephus tells us of the sect of believers who followed Jesus, known as Christians. The writings of Tacitus, who was also very much against Christianity, talk about Jesus. The Bible has several recorded letters, which contrary to what many think, are HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS. These writings have been carefully preserved, and there are many copies of these letters still in existence. Paper was too expensive to write copy after copy of nonsense writings. And the fact that the teachings of Christ have changed the world- that alone tells us that He existed. People who don’t acknowledge these things are just being ignorant.
