Why some dogs have high adoption fees while others do not have an adoption fee?
There are always people willing to adopt a pure breed dog or cat. Since prices for a pet in the store are so high, there is willingness to adopt with a high fee when the dog is from a certain breed. Sometimes the high fee reflects medical expenses and transport cost from breeders and puppy mills (sometimes on our of state trips). Overall, Noah’s Ark has the privilege to support these beautiful animals that lack any chance to survive on their own in the streets.
