Why some Americans people abuses the Filipino woman?
Because they feel superior to the Filipinos. It’s the relationship of the colonizer – colonizee. The Filipino, man or woman, feels subordinate to the White because of Colonial Mentality and the current puppet Philippine government of the US. That’s why. Limit the number of Amerasians/Mestizos in the TV, promote indigenous languages, enrich local products, and teach love for country, and this will definitely disappear in the next generation.
Some are just IceHoles. Some men are jerks and they abuse women; be it American or Filipino. But do not buy into every thing you hear. For every one instance of abuse, there are many more you never hear about that are very well treated. Bad news is all that is ever heard or gossiped about. No one prints or rumors the good news, it isn’t as good a story and doesn’t sell well. There are many wonderful, beautiful, educated, and caring Filipino women. If you are being abused, then get away from him and fast. A wise fisherman knows: Not every fish is worth keeping.
