Sometime when the teeth have not been cleaned for along time, the tartar can fill the gaps between the teeth. Once these tartar are cleaned out, the natural spaces will be restored so by cleaning itself teeth will not get more spacious. In the same token when the teeth have a lot of tartar built-up around them they can be “supported” by these harmful substances. After the cleaning these built-up are removed and the teeth lost the “support” so temporarily they can be looser. However without these harmful factors, the gum tissue can recover from chronic inflammation and regenerate more support itself. That’s an establishment or true, healthy periodontal support.
