0

The problem with the American Presidential elections is that it does not just affect the USA. The future leader of the greatest power on earth affects the rest of the whole world. The lives of everyone, from the humble dustman in the UK to the Islamic terrorist in Iraq will feel the effect of the choice of the next president of the USA. So when many of the USA citizens say to the rest of the world “Butt out, it’s our elections” They are to certain extent true, that is, if their choice of president confined himself to internal affairs. Yet we all know that successive USA presidents become fully involved in international affairs which has far reaching consequences for everyone else in the world. So you will see many comments from people all over the world whom, at first glance, have absolutely no right to be commenting on the outcome, yet the outcome will severely impact on everyones lives.
