Why so many masters? Why not use just one master with lots of drones?
Each scheme has its advantages and disadvantages. One advantage of the required multiple-masters approach is that if one master “fails,” e.g., falls into a pit, dies, gets eaten, runs out of battery power, etc.; the hunt can still continue. (Although master failure is unlikely in our simulation, it would always be a potential problem in more realistic simulations. ) • When a player moves, does it “jump” or “walk”? I.e., do we have to consider all the locations along some path in the field joining the current location to the next location? Or can we just move it to the target location without regard to any particular path taken? For simplicity, let’s say they jump. You may just move it to the target location without regard to any particular path taken. • In what order do the players move? You get to decide the order. Each (non-disabled) player moves one time for each sweep. • How fast does news (e.g., finding treasure or gravel pits) travel? News can travel a “distance” of one edge alon
