Why Skopjans use the term “Aegean macedonia”?
The Skopjan intentions, when they use the term “Aegean Macedonia” are summarized in the following excerpts from an article that appeared in the newspaper Borba on August 26, 1946 entitled “Aegean Macedonia” which reads as follows (quoted in [9]). ” Greek imperialists have no right to keep the Macedonians any longer under their yoke… extermination of our populations in Greece and to their right and request to opt and unite themselves with their breathren in Yugoslavia” [Note: As a Macedonian myself, I don’t want to have anything to do with these Skopjans not now, not in the future, not any time.] A month later, on Sept 22, the Premier of the PR Macedonia Dimitar Vlahov delivered a speech in Monastir published in Nova Macedonija on Sept 26, 1946 which referred to Macedonia as follows: ” We openly declare that Greece has no right whatsoever over Aegean Macedonia….
