Why sign up for fall baskets?
The fall basket is offered to families who want to continue to eat with the season until December. The vegetables offered were grown at the farm this summer and stored in the cold room, just like the vegetables found in grocery stores in the winter. The difference is that you know that these are locally grown and organic, furthermore, you even know who harvested them! Basket size and delivery schedule Fall baskets are significantly larger than summer baskets because they are delivered only twice during fall: once at the end of October and again in mid November. Furthermore, these fall crops generally store very well and can thus be enjoyed for a long time with only a couple basket distributions.
