Why shouldn’t there be a choice of licensing exam options?

There is only one exam that is designed specifically to meet the needs of the Licensing Boards and Agencies so having a choice becomes a moot point because the MBLEx is clearly the only appropriate exam. In addition, as a beneficial consequence, a uniform standardized exam will only serve to help the individual practitioner so that they don’t have to take multiple exams whenever they choose to cross a State line. If they happen to unwittingly choose the “wrong” exam it forces them to have to take a test to be compliant, oftentimes several years after they have completed their education.
