Why shouldn?t I wax the cover?
If you would like to shine up the cover, PLEASE do not use paste or thick liquid wax that you pour from a bottle! The reason for this is that there are a number of seams and grooves where the metal panels meet that make it very hard to remove wax. Personally, we have waxed covers in the past and have been sorry about doing it as it has created a great deal of work to get all of the wax out of some very tight spaces.
