You dont want to drink alcohol because it thins out your blood. By doing this you bleed alot making it harder for the tattoo artist to see what he/she is doing. It will also hurt more, because you are bleeding alot, you are pushing the ink out as the tattoo artist is trying to put the ink in, causing the tattoo artist to go over the tattooed area more. You can also bleed the color right out of your new tattoo by drinking alcohol. You shouldnt drink alcohol 24 hours before getting a tattoo. One reason you shouldn’t do drugs before getting a tattoo is because your not in your right state of mind. You can give yourself a heart attack or a seizure. Tattoo’s and drugs don’t mix. If you want to do drugs thats your business, JUST DONT DO IT AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE YOU GET TATTOOED.
