Why should we trust science when it is subject to constant change?
Science does NOT change. Newton’s discoveries about the universe are still as true and relevant as they were nearly 400 years ago. Archimedes discovered principles about hydrostatics and invented sophisticated machines – 200 years before Christ. If you read the Bible from start to finish (as I have) you will see that God is totally INCONSISTENT, his word changes all the time. What Jesus said about loving your neighbour was the opposite of the Old Testament “eye for an eye”. The truth is that the bible is an assortment of legends, old wives’ tales and ill-remembered events. You cannot base your life on such a miscellaneous rag-bag.
Science very seldom “changes.” It frequently undergoes revision and fine-tuning, but it doesn’t often change, because in order for something to be considered a scientific fact it must be thoroughly proven. There are many scientific hypothesizes that are not considered fact because they don’t have the necessary verification. The fact that religion DOESN’T change is exactly why it’s invalid. Religion is from a time when we killed the mentally ill because we thought they were possessed. A time when we thought the Earth was the center of the universe. It’s unchanging nature is what makes it untrue. A person who is wise and considerate will change their beliefs periodically according to the circumstances that present themselves and the facts that are established. This is how we go from being selfish toddlers to children who share. Religion is stubborn and child-like.
because its subject to constant change which mean adapting for the information found, new information is foudn regulary that WHY it changes regularly gods word never changes because thereis only one way to prove gods word, using gods word, doesnt rally bode well as evidence and so is not giventhe chance to add any new ifnormation, its just stale as it is, for eternity, no matter what is found what you deem trustworhty is in fact the least trustworthy, because its not open to any additional informatin foudn, and there is alway sadditional information found the most trustworthy is th eone which changes to adapt and give way for teh new information i dotn insist any such thing
