Why should used ECL answer sheets be mailed to DLIELC/LECT?
DLIELC/LECT uses information from the answer sheets to prepare certain reports for the Military Departments, to track discrepancies between in-country and direct-entry ECL scores and to monitor testing procedures at nonresident ECL testing sites. Analysis of the information provided by the used answer sheets allows DLIELC/LECT to assist TCOs in evaluating the number of ECL forms they will need in their programs, especially if they had no overlap with their predecessors. Used answer sheets should be forwarded to DLIELC/LECT once a month (in secure wrapping by certified or registered mail). They should never be copied, faxed or handled by anyone other than TCOs or DLIELC personnel with testing privileges.
