Why Should The Words “Under God” In The Pledge Of Allegiance?
The words “Under God” were not in the original pledge until 50 years after the pledge was written. Our leaders recognized the presence of God in our country. These words were added because our leaders realized that with out God, our country would be nothing. They put Under because they also realized that God should always come before that country, so our country is “Under God”.
