Why should the support flange with integrated non return valve (LAPP 63V) be used with LGHP 2 wit SKF SYSTEM 24 LAGE?
Testing has shown that the inclusion of a non return valve can prevent the premature separation of the thickener and oil with LGHP 2.The separation of the thickener and oil in a running bearing is necessary to ensure good lubrication, but premature separation can reduce the grease life. Other SKF bearing greases don’t exhibit this behaviour inside the SYSTEM 24 LAGE and should not be used with a non return valve.
