Why should the City of Ottawa be in favour of this development?

It comes down to policy and money. The City has moved forward with its infill policy to decrease urban sprawl and it has the potential in this development to create 217 new taxpayers in a heavily taxed neighbourhood. Our vision for the neighbourhood and that of the City are unlikely to be one and the same.
