Certainly, each organization has valuable assets that are needed by the other. The Mocs Club owns strong name recognition; an established event schedule and local grassroots volunteer support. The Blue & Gold Club owns the formal affiliation with UTC, exclusive member benefits, access to facilities and multimedia channels. We have also discovered that on occasion, the Blue & Gold Club and Mocs Club may unnecessarily duplicate efforts and miss opportunities to fully capitalize the momentum our athletics program is generating.
