Why should the Catholics maintain spiritual bitterness towards the Protestants* -(while they*….)?
I have been introduced by my friends that are of the Catholoc faith as someone who is a Christian. Most Catholics are taught that they are the church and are therefore seperate from the world. We are all supposed to be Christian (followers of Christ), but unfortunately their identity is not as of a Christian, but as a entity.
I find much, much more bitterness towards and spreading of misinformation about Catholics from Protestants( from Fundamentalist protestants, especially) than the other way around Catholics, Orthodox and protestants need to forgive the past and enter into real dialogue and appreciations of each other Prayer for each other and with each other would be a good place to start Accepting the probability that”they” are as sincere as “we” are is also needed Protestants claim to go by the Bible Alone but they actually interpret the Bible in the light of their church traditions and by the claims of authority to interpret of their magisteria of pastors, teachers, etc
