Why should students schedule appointments rather than simply drop by the office?
Several reasons. First, scheduling an advisement session at least a day or so ahead gives us time to review your transcript and update your curriculum sheet before we meet. Second, by making a reservation, you help to assure that we won’t be interrupted by other students. And most importantly, scheduling an advisement session guarantees that you will have enough time to ask questions and receive clear, accurate answers.
