Why should students enroll in LVIP instead of Florida Virtual School?
The courses and requirements are the same. The difference is that LVIP teachers are local and will be able to meet as needed with students for face-to-face interaction. When students take the courses through LVIP instead of FLVS, as long as they stay within the 6-class maximum school/virtual combination, the FTE funding remains in the district. Upon completion of the required 24 credits, LVIP students receive a diploma.
