Why should scholarships be limited to a certain group of people?

by R_Berue on October 28th, 2008 Scholarships ARE NOT limited to a certain group of people. If you are referring to ethnicity, race or religion, there may very well be scholarships restricted to that particular group of people. It all depends on how the scholarship fund was originally set up and/or is funded. When it comes to scholarships, fellowships, grants, etc., folks can do as they see fit with their money. They can put whatever restrictions they want on it. HOWEVER, they must stay within the parameters of that particular scholoarship. If you are looking for a scholarship for your education or your child’s education, I THINK you have to do your best to “take the path of least resistance”. It’s not going to be “a piece of cake” or “like taking candy from a baby” or “like a walk in the park”, but it might beat sitting at home wondering, “What can I do to . . .?” You MUST learn how to work hard AND work smart! BELIEVE ME: NOTHING flatters like flattery! THE BEST suggestions I can off
