Why should Prochieve not be prescribed?

0

You cannot use Prochieve if you are allergic to progesterone or if you have unusual vaginal bleeding that has not been evaluated by a doctor. You must also avoid the drug if you have liver disease, known or suspected cancer of the breast or genitals, or a history of blood clots, especially in the legs, lungs, or eyes. If you’ve had a miscarriage and your doctor suspects some tissue is still in the uterus (sometimes called a “missed miscarriage”), you cannot use Prochieve.
