Why should Oshawa Council and Durham Region support an ethanol plant? What’s the benefit?
The benefits for Oshawa and region are tremendous. The facility will create 650 industry related jobs, and 50 high-paying direct jobs. This ethanol facility will also inject more than $60 million into the local economy each year, including $1 million in direct tax revenues annually for the municipality.
