Why should mankind save the rainforest?
The rainforest contains the widest diversity of organisms on the planet, get rid of the rainforest, and most of them will go extinct. b)The world’s rainforests are a massive carbon sink (The trees ‘lock’ carbon inside their tissues, as well as converting it to Oxygen), chopping them down would hugely increase the levels of carbon dioxide in the environment c)The rainforest’s a beautiful place. not the best argument ever, but it’s definitely one of the reasons why we should try and preserve it.
