Why should IUPUI students participate in community service?
IUPUI students should participate in community service because it is so important to realize what a big part of the community we are. Often times we are so engrossed by our lives as college students, we forget that we are also members of a community. By donating a little time and volunteering at a campus-wide day of service or going and volunteering at a specific organization for a couple of hours, college students can realize the positive impact that they have on people around them and begin to make service a permanent part of their lives.
