Why should I use TEA instead of a lawyer to provide contracts advice and guidance?

A. There are several reasons. The first is cost. Would you pay more for contract management services than a Fortune 100 company? Large Government contractors routinely use “contracts staff,” trained in the principles of the Governments procurement system to handle virtually all of their proposals, contract negotiations and contract administration needs. In fact, the practical knowledge of Government contracting is highly prized in companies with the fewest contract problems. The second reason–the vast majority of both Government contractors and commercial services firms need assistance with preparing sound proposals, structuring the offer and making sure that offer is articulated in the contract. These are not services usually offered by attorneys. Having said that, we will tell you if we believe your issue requires legal review, and we have access to lawyers whom we either use or recommend to our clients.
