Why should I use StormWattles instead of silt fence?
There are several reasons: • Aesthetics – In housing developments and other construction areas where new or potential clients are able to see the site, StormWattles allow an obstructed view. They are also more pleasing to the eye than unsightly black fencing that is 2-3′ high. • Silt fence has to be removed – In the final stages of construction, silt fence is removed. When this is done the silt, dirt and sediment that has been retained no longer has any form of containment or control. Ultra-StormWattles can be left in place even after construction is completed. It will eventually “mulch-in” with the surrounding environment.
