CellML is designed to facilitate distribution and reuse of models. If you are a modeller, encoding your model in CellML means that you can easily share your work in a manner that is platform and application agnostic. CellML is highly modular, meaning that it is easy to build systems from pre-existing models. CellML models can also be hosted at the CellML Model Repository, providing a permanent URL to reference. Creating a description of your model in CellML will enhance the impact it has within the scientific community.
