Another big comparison is that we use more wood in our storage buildings than the large chain stores. All of our floor systems are comprised of 12″ on center framing, many of the national chains use larger spacing between their floor joists. We also provide a 3/4″ plywood floor vs a smaller 5/8″ floor provided by most larger chain stores. We also provide 16″ on center wall framing in ALL of our buildings, the national chain stores typically use less wood and space the wall studs to 24″ on center.
