Why should I purchase a Jetstream water and energy efficient shower when I have been told the same savings can be achieved by fitting a simple restrictor, at lower cost?
This is a misconception! The fitting of a restrictor is a problem because while the flow rate is reduced, the showerhead is not designed to operate at the lower rate. The standard unrestricted shower is designed to operate at flow rates of 12- 24 litres per minute and cannot be controlled to Jetstream’s water volume of 5-12 litres per minute without severely affecting the quality of the shower.
