Silk is by nature a delicate fabric and washing by hand will help prolong the useful life of the garment. The major concern is that the shearing effect caused by the silk tangling with other clothes might rp the seams. However, if you do wish to use a washing machine please put the DermaSilk in a net laundry bag to help prevent the shearing.
