For the same reasons listed above. Soupermail is not a simple form handler to get to grips with. You’ll have to get your head around templates and the element. With a fairly complicated form, you can quickly wind up with a couple of templates, a config file, file headers and footers and the original HTML form. Before embarking on Soupermail, have a look at the examples that come in the distribution archives. They’ll give you invaluable pointers about how config files, forms and templates interact.
