Why should I not include the signed Approval page and other signatures in my pdf?
Signatures are private information that are protected by privacy legislation. One of the mandatory pages in your thesis is the Approval page that your committee members will sign after you defend and complete final revisions as required. While you will need to include this signed Approval page in the paper copy/copies required for deposit, you should NOT include it in your pdf for electronic submission. You can simply eliminate the Approval page entirely from the pdf or insert an unsigned Approval page in the pdf with the committee names only.
