Why should I invest in converting its data to the nui format?
There is a one-time investment that needs to be made to convert imagery to the nui format. This conversion may require numerous hours but the return on investment is very short especially for those customers that plan to access the imagery numerous times in the future. Since most raster data is quite expensive and cumbersome to acquire, it is rarely the case that imagery is acquired once and viewed a few times before acquiring newer imagery. Usually imagery is acquired once then viewed for many months if not years before it is replaced with a newer dataset.
