Breeders have to comply with the A.K.C. guidelines or they cannot register their litters. The resale of the A.K.C. dogs have a better resale, in case something changes in your life and you need to find a new home for your puppy. Beware of backyard breeders, you don’t know what you’re paying for, these are the dogs that usually cost $200 – $400.
