Why should I bother with the Quality Standards for Young People’s Information advice and guidance?

0

• The Standards are for all organisations providing information advice and guidance to young people aged between 11-19. • Many schools and colleges are already meeting the Standards. They were introduced in 2007 to try to ensure consistency of provision and delivery. It may be that you can make a few changes to existing provision in order to meet the Standards which are relevant to you. • Ensuring that Salford is providing high quality and consistent IAG is now the responsibility of the authority. • Ofsted will include reference to the Quality Standards for IAG in their inspections.
