When you connect a DYMO LabelWriter printer to your PC, DYMO File can print barcodes on small self-adhesive labels that you apply to each document (the first page only) without leaving your desk. This is convenient and efficient for most users. If you dont use a LabelWriter with DYMO File, you can print the barcode on plain paper from your existing laser or inkjet printer. You will then lay that sheet (barcode facing up) on top of your document as a cover sheet and you will scan the document with the cover sheet.
